This mushrooms has many names: Hericium Erinaceus, Hedgehog Mushroom or Lion’s Mane. As a mushroom group, it is considered to be as nutritionally functional foods and source of physically beneficial medicines.

This mushroom is rich in many beneficial components, especially β-glucan polysaccharides (responsible for anti-cancer, immune-modulating, hypolipidemic, antioxidant and neuroprotective activities. In addition, it is known for its anti-microbial, anti-hypertensive, anti-diabetic and wound healing properties.

Hericium Erinaceus is known for its Neuroprotective and Cognitive benefits. It has a stimulation ability to NGF (Nerve Growth Factor) which is crucial for nerve growth, repair, and overall neuronal health. For such properties it enhances cognitive function which leads to improving memory loss, focus and attention sharpness.
